BTRC, the Belarusian national broadcaster is working round the clock on their forthcoming 2013 Eurovision national final, which is scheduled to be held in Minsk on 7 December. A special meeting was held in order to discuss the preparations for the forthcoming national final.

During the meeting, the creative and technical issues regarding the  preparation for the national final,  the legal aspects  concerning the conclusion of contracts with each of the 10 contestants were discussed. The rehearsals of the final will take place on December 5-6 in studio “600 m” of Belteleradiocompany. The general rehearsal will take place on 6 December  in the evening. A draw will  be held in order to deliberate the  procedure of the performances on the eve of the rehearsals.

The competing entries  will start airing on the radio stations of Belteleradiocompany (the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio, channel “Culture”, radio “Belarus”, radio stations “Stolitsa” and “Radius FM”) in due course. Belteleradiocompany also plans to record an audio-disc with the 10 songs of the  Belarusian 2013 National Final.

In the run-up to the final, interviews with the performers will air within the framework of the programs “Good Morning, Belarus!” on “Belarus 1” and “Belarus 24” and “Belarusian Vremechko” on “Belarus 2”.

The final show will be aired  live on  TV channels “Belarus 1” and “Belarus 24” on 7 December. The winner will be determined according to the traditional formula in correspondence with the rules of the Eurovision contest: following the results of the audience’s votes and the evaluations of the jury.
