Dima Bilan the 2008 Russian Eurovision winner has once again won the Best Russian MTV Europe Award, and has now won the Best MTV Europe Eupean Act Award. Hence the Russian star will be competing for the coveted MTV Europe  Best World Act Award. It will not be an easy task to achieve this award as Dima will fight against  Han Geng (Asia Pacific), Ahmed Soultan (Africa/India/Middle East), Rihanna (North America)  and Restart (Latin America).

The 2012 MTV Europe Awards are scheduled to be held on the 11th of November in Frankfurt and will be aired live at 21CET. The event will be hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

Dima Bilan is among Russia’s most sought after singers. He has represented his homeland Russia 2 times at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with Never let you go (placing 2nd) and in 2008 with Believe (placing 1st). This year he tried to represent Russia for the 3rd time hece competing in the 2012 Russian Eurovision national final in duet with Yulia Volkova ( ex t.A.T.u).

Dima Bilan is supported by a huge army of fans and friends, and he has received more than 70 awards in the music sphere. Dima Bilan is the only artist who has won the Best Russian Act EMA 6 times.
