Last Sunday Peter Thelenius, singer in the group B-Boys International, has been arrested for assaulting a music producer. B-Boys International feat. Peter Thelenius, one of the singers of the Melodifestivalen participating group B-Boys International, was arrested last Sunday for assaulting a music producer. Thelenius however regretted what he had done and felt horrible about the situation.

Swedish broadcaster SVT has investigated the matter and looked for more details. Thomas Hall, responsible for Melodifestivalen, earlier said that a disqualification could not be excluded after what happened. Any measures would however not influence the participation of the entry One step closer to you, said Christer Björkman. If a disqualification would have followed, that one wouldl only have concerned Peter Thelenius and another band member could replace him.

Today, SVT announced not to take any measures againsts Peter Thelenius. B-Boys International feat. Paul M will thus compete as planned in the last heat of Melodifestivalen 2005, to take place on 5th March in Växjö.
