Spanish broadcaster TVE has received about 100 songs for the Spanish national Eurovision Song Contest selections. 12 songs have been selected to take part in a national final to be held on Friday 4th March. The 12 finalists will be revealed tomorrow.
Tomorrow there will come an end to the doubts around the Spanish national selections. TVE has set the date for the final on 4th March and selected 12 songs to compete for the Spanish ticket to the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev.
Spanish broadcaster TVE had invited record companies to submit complete packages, including song and singer, for the Spanish national selections. TVE received about 100 proposals and selected 12 of them. The names of the singers and authors and the titles of the songs will be made public tomorrow.
On 4th March the Spanish audience will select a representative for Kiev by televoting. The winner of the national final will represent Spain in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 21st May.
