The Turkish national final takes place tonight. Seven songs will compete for representing Turkey at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. The final will be transmitted live on TRT-1, TRT International and over the internet.

These are the participants in the 2005 Turkish national final:

1. Grup Ariana – Sen benim aşkımsın
2. Seçil Hüner – Rumuz andante
3. Gülseren – Rimi rimi ley
4. Nursel Efe – Tek isteğim
5. Barış – Yana Yana
6. Murat Türkücüoğlu – Saydam
7. Sedat Yüce – Yeniden

The seven participating songs will be evaluated by a professional jury and the song to represent Turkey in Kiev will be selected. The professional jury is composed of 17 people, including composers, arrangers, artists, fan club members and TRT administrators.

The final can be watched live on TRT-1, TRT International and here over the internet. Guest stars are Semiha Yanki (Turkey 1975 – Seninle bir dakika) and Ruslana. The winner will represent Turkey in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 21st May in Kiev.
