One of the most remarkable participants tonight is Justine Pelmelay, who represented the Netherlands with Blijf zoals je bent at the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest. Tonight is her revenge! Johnny Rosenberg is by far tonight's most favorite participant, though no one knows how it will turn out! Tranen in de stilte is tonight's only song in Dutch, while Andre Kuik is the only participant selected twice this year. Next week he will perform So high, tonight he sings Together, together with Cynthia Klaver as.. Kuik & Klaver!

Voting
Tonight, six songs will be performed. The televoters decide which two songs continue to the final, which takes place on 13th February. From the four songs that are left, the jury will select one more song to continue to the final. To keep everything exciting, it will not be announced which songs are selected by the televoters and the jury. The televoting results of all semifinals will be made public after the final.
