Tiffany, Chastity and Meander have been selected for the final of the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival 2005. That's the outcome of the second semifinal, which just ended at the Amsterdam PepsiStage.

After Trinity, Renee & Dennis and Yvette de Bie, now Tiffany with Tomorrow, Chastity with Baby it's you and Meander with Tusken skimmer en ljocht will return in the final, which takes place on 13th February.

In the greenroom, all the emotions came out. While singer Kees of Blue Karma was “at least happy his voice was good” (something not everyone agreed about in the audience), Tiffany started to cry for a short moment after it all was a bit too much for the 17-year old singer. For the youngest singer of the night, Rachel (singer of Leven als een beest) was there for a hug! Chastity pointed out that she was pleased with her performance, but that she hired lawyers to force her composer to return to the previous version of her song, which is better according to many.

The jury was positive about Rachel & Waylon, but they couldn't convince the jury and the audience enough to make it to the final. For Kees (Blue Karma) it was the second time he failed, as he couldn't make it to the final last year either with Butterfly (under the name Kaysee). Willemijn Verkaik was pleased about her own performance and the comments of the jury, but the same jury didn't select her after all. Although all the jury members were overall positive about Wishful thinking, Willemijn's adventure ends here.

Stay tuned for more!
