Ruslana and Svante Stockselius, the executive supervisor of Eurovision Song Contest, had a chance to meet with the new President of Ukraine, Viktor Yuschenko. Together they discussed all kinds of issues pertaining to the upcoming 50th Eurovision Song Contest in May 2005.
This was the first meeting of Stockselius with the new president of Ukraine. Yuschenko recieved them at his former campaign headquarters in one of the most ancient parts of Kiev, Podil. During the one-hour meeting, the president expressed his support to the process of the organisation on the highest level and noted that Ukraine had been expecting this opportunity for at least 14 years.
