The 10 acts that made it to the final of You're a star were announced last night by the RTE. The winner of this talent show will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. Next to the 10 finalists, RTE also announced the names of 8 acts which will compete in a wildcard round on 2 January for the 2 spare places in the final.

The girl trio George was formed by the production team of You're a star with 3 individual contestants.
On 2 January these 8 acts will participate in the wildcard round:

� Dave's Radio
� Ann Harrington
� Lorraine Maher
� Mahoney
� Pierce O'Donnell
� George Peyton
� Angela Shanny
The group Dave's Radio was actually qualified for the Finals, but decided to quit the show after an argument with the producers. They were persuaded to change their minds and were placed in the wildcard round.
