Swedish broadcaster SVT will be releasing three Melodifestivalen DVDs: two for the occasion of 50 years Melodifestivalen and one for Melodifestivalen 2005.
The first DVD to be released is Melodifestivalen 50 år – Favoriterna, a DVD including the Swedes' favourite Melodifestivalen hits produced over the last 50 years. The DVD will be released on 9th February 2005, a couple of days before Melodifestivalen 2005 kicks off.
A second DVD will include videos of songs that have won the Swedish national selections. Melodifestivalen 50 år – Vinnarna will be released on 30th March 2005. SVT will traditionally also release a DVD of Melodifestivalen 2005.
