Spanish broadcaster TVE will organize a special TV show to honour María Isabel, this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest winner. Eurojunior. La victoria will be broadcast tonight at 23:00 CET on TVE 1 and tomorrow at 16:05 CET on TVE Internacional.
Besides performing her winning entry Antes muerta que sencilla, María Isabel will sing duets with some of the most famous Spanish singers nowadays. 3+2, a quintet including Sergio, last year's Spanish junior representative, will also be present.
Yesterday, the 9-year-old María Isabel visited her home town Ayamonte for the first time since returning from Lillehammer. Thousands of people gathered in the coastal Andalusian town near the Portuguese border, to give her a warm welcome. As a tribite to her Junior Eurovision Song Contest victory, the town of Ayamonte named a park after María Isabel.
In its second week in the Spanish chart, María Isabel's debut album No me toques las palmas que me conozco rises from the 49th to the 11th place. On her official website, the video clip of Antes muerta que sencilla is now available too.
