Bulgarian broadcaster BNT has confirmed its Eurovision Song Contest participation. The first Bulgarian entry will be selected in two rounds.

The Bulgarian selections for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in two rounds. In the first round, 24 songs will take part. A jury will select half of them to proceed to the second round. In this second round, televoting will decide which of the 12 songs will represent Bulgaria at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
