Nicole Hohloch, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1982, puts an end to her collaboration with “Mr. Grand Prix Germany”, Ralph Siegel. The composer and producer discovered Nicole 24 years ago and since then wrote several hits for her, including her winning Eurovision entry 'Ein bisschen Frieden'.
“After such a long time, one has to be allowed to try something different”, Nicole explained to newspaper Abendzeitung. Her new producers are Giorgio and Martin Koppehele. Armin Pertl wrote the songs of her new album, which is about to be released in May 2005. “It was about time for some fresh wind”, she added.
Ralph Siegel took the loss of one of his most successful artists easy: “We have done 20 albums together. So it is okay if Nicole takes a look around. I wish her all the best. If it does not work out, she can return to me”, he told the newspaper.
