Sports Palace renovation to start in February

According to eurovision2005.info, the renovation of the Sports Palace in Kiev will start in February 2005. The works should be finished in March 2005, two months before the Sports Palace will host the Eurovision Song Contest.

After the renovation of Kiev's Eurovision Song Contest venue, the Sports Palace will offer seats to more than 5000 spectators. The works are scheduled to be started in February and to be finished in March 2005. Together with the Sports Palace itself, the surrounding area will be renovated as well.
