The German club of OGAE (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l� Eurovision) is going to hold a Eurovision meeting on November 6th in Munich, the Eurovision city of 1983. Among the special guests are Séverine (Monaco 1971), Edina Popp (Germany 1979), Anjeza Shahini (Albania 2004, pictured), and a special surprise which is kept hidden so far.
Despite of the fact there are two Eurovision clubs in Germany (OGAE Germany and ECG � Eurovision Club Germany), both of them are quite popular and strong with their Eurovision passion. They�re definitely an example to follow by some of the other Eurovision fan clubs throughout Europe since they�re very organized and dynamic.
OGAE Germany has 520 members and has organised several fan conventions (Hamburg in 2001, Munich in 2002, Berlin in 2003, and this year in Munich again). Along with new talents from various national finals (like Tinka Milinovic from Bosnia Herzegovina, Andrijana Janevska from Macedonia or Valahia from Romania) a lot of Eurovision legends have been guests already. Joy Fleming (Germany 1975), Mary Roos (Germany 1972 and 1984), Fabrizio Faniello (Malta 2001), Marie N (Latvia 2002), Christer Björkman (Sweden 1992), Manuel Ortega (Austria 2002), Sestre (Slovenia 2002), Nicola (Romania 2003), Lou (Germany 2003), and Karmen Stavec (Slovenia 2003) already performed on a German OGAE convention.
Generally, an average of 200 people attend this meeting, and around 20% of them are from other countries. Thus, members and guests are expected to have fun for one day, to enjoy the opportunity to get to know each other, to talk, discuss, and buy original Eurovision CD�s through a record fair. Also a karaoke contest and a Eurovision quiz are planned.
The ticket prices are � 40 (including a voucher of � 10 for meals) if you are not member of OGAE, whereas OGAE members ticket will be � 35 (including a voucher of � 10 for meals).
