According to the Marketing manager of the Moldova Broadcasting TRM, Dorel Samoila, the confirmation of the participation in the next year's Eurovision Song Contest will be done before September 30th.

After the support of the esctoday team and the contacts with the Eurovision Broadcasting Union (EBU), TRM is waiting for terms and conditions in order to make the final decision.

The contest seems to be quite popular in the country and it is estimated that 25% of Moldovans (approximately 1 million people) watch it every year.

It goes without saying that the TRM's expectations concerning the viewing figures are higher if there's a Moldovan contestant taking part in the contest.
