Cypriot broadcaster CyBC asked the girl band Hi-5 to represent Cyprus at next years Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. The girls of Hi-5 announced this during a show on Cypriot television.
The female group Hi-5 has been asked by CyBC to represent Cyprus at next years Eurovision Song Contest. The girls told this during the show Alive on the Cypriot channel Sigma TV.
Hi-5 said to be astonished and excited about CyBC's proposal, however Marlain Angelidou reacted more cautious. “We need to discuss this with CyBC and find the right song,” she said. Marlain Angelidou already represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 with Thane erotas and ended only 22nd.
