According to our sources, Walloon broadcaster RTBF will organise the final of Eurokids 2004 on Sunday 26th September, two days later than the final was scheduled first. RTBF is responsible for the Belgian entry at this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
According to our sources, the first Eurokids 2004 show will be aired on La Une, the first channel of RTBF, on 3rd September. In this prerecorded show the 10 participants of Eurokids 2004 will be presented to the Walloon public. One week later, on 10th September, the first semifinal will take place, the week after on 17th September the second semifinal. Each semifinal will feature 5 participants.
On Monday 20th September, the Eurokids 2004 full album will be released by EMI. The album will contain the 10 participating songs and the song Notre terre that the kids recorded all together. On Sunday 26th September, the final of Eurokids 2004 will be broadcast. During this show, the Belgian representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2004 will be chosen. In the meantime, RTBF confirmed the dates to eurosong.be.
Belgium's Flemish and Walloon broadcaster VRT and RTBF will co-host the 3rd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005.
