The Turkish media consider their own country as this year's big Eurovision Song Contest winner. Turkish newspapers wrote that tonight's show is one big advertisement for Turkey.

If Turkey would have to buy three hours of broadcasting time in 36 countries, it would've cost at least EUR 1,850,000,000, the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet wrote. “Whoever may win tonight's contest, three hundred million people will see Turkey on screen tonight”, they wrote.

The expectations about tonight's viewing figures are widely spread. Expectations lay between 200 million and 350 million viewers.
