Tonight at 21:00 CET, the 49th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest will take place in the Turkish city Istanbul, the only city in the world embracing two continents! The show is a co-production between Turkish national public broadcaster TRT and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
The show takes place in the Abdi Ipekci arena, located in the area of Zeytinburnu. Istanbul is prepared for tonight's show, as live link-ups will be made to Taksim Square, Hamburg and Madrid to show worldwide viewers that the contest is being watched by many.
Tonight's show will be hosted by Meltem Cumbul and Korhan Abay, who also hosted Wednesday's qualifying round. According to unofficial figures, around 200 million people will be watching the show in more than 40 countries.
