Portugal didn't succeed to obtain a place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, next Saturday. That was the outcome of the qualifier round held yesterday in Istanbul.
According to the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã, Sofia confessed to have given her best on stage and all the group seemed to be quite happy with the performance.
Unfortunately, this was not enough to make it to the final since Portugal did not reach top 10 and came 15th, among the 22 songs, scoring 38 points.
Therefore, Portugal will have to take part again in the qualifier round in 2005.
