The second half of the dress rehearsal followed on similarly to the first half. After the Ukraine and Greece received big applause, the second lot of countries took to the stage. Cyprus and Serbia Montengro also gained big applause.

Meanwhile after Malta performed they came to the press centre to be greeted by camera crew to give a television interview. There was some attention given to Ralph Siegels role in the production of the song, however fans were reserved after their dress rehearsal, probably due to vocals. It appeared that Julie was struggling, while Ludwig was often overpowering at times.

Albanias Anjeza was a little late with a call for the lead singer to please come on stage. After the delayed start she was off, and had good interaction with her backing singers. Cyprus proved to be another popular choice with the small audience as Lisa Andreas sings on the atmospheric stage with moody light effects. Vocally she was one of the strongest.

A break came after the FYR Macedonia entry, in which Korhan Abay interviewed Bosnia Herzegovinas Deen about his involvement in the Olympics. Deen told Europe of how much he loved them and his strife for peace and love, as well as introducing his team of dancers. Whether it is Deen who will be interviewed on the night or another participant remains to be seen.

After a safe performance from Slovenia, the Estonians took to the stage. The act is certainly different as one girl starts off centre stage and eventually builds up into the whole group, appearing from different corners of the stage. They all proceed to encircle the drummer as they usher him, meanwhile he plays the drums with his hands and bangs the symbol with his head. The performance ends with a framing pose, with the punk rock drummer spread across the stage in front.

Serbia Montenegro also proved to be a big favorite, and Zeljko was one of the vocally strongest out of the male performers. His performance is also simple yet effective as the various musicians surround him.

Meanwhile in the press centre journalists watching the performances on screen applauded these countries as well, along with the Netherlands.

A clip of all 22 songs was shown, and then Korhan Abay and Meltem Cumbul announced the votes. A blank space from the scoreboard comes to the bottom of the screen and is filled with the name of a country after being announced, before returning back to the running order slot. In the end the winners of the semi final and new scoreboard for the final is revealed.
