ARTE, the French-German broadcaster, is currently making a documentary film about the Eurovision Song Contest. The film will take a look behind the scenes of the contest and will follow six of this year's participants.

French-German broadcaster ARTE is interested in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Since a couple of weeks a team of 20 people have been working on a documentary film.

The concept is to follow the Eurovision Song Contest backstage and from different angles, showing an image of the people who work behind the scenes of the world's biggest music event. The documentary film will as well follow 6 of this year's performing artists: Max (Germany), Jonatan Cerrada (France), Platin (Slovenia), Lisa Andreas (Cyprus), Ruslana (Ukraine) and Athena (Turkey).

The film is scheduled to be broadcast in 5 episodes of 26 minutes each, from 24th till 28th of May at 20.15 CET on ARTE. Later on, from 31st May till 4th June, it will as well be broadcast on French channel Planete. This channel will as well broadcast a 90 minute version on Saturday 5th June.
