Last night, Xandee presented her first solo album 1 Life to the press. After her performance, a farewell party took place, because tomorrow the Belgian delegation is leaving for Istanbul.
Xandee, who'll represent Belgium in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song 1 Life, presented her first solo album to the press last night. Xandee performed four songs of her new album: Always you, The Power of Music, her next single Ay Que Calor ! and of course the title song of the album 1 Life. Snippets of her new album will soon be available on Xandee's official website.
After Xandee presented her album, a farewell party took place in the Amerikaans Theater at the Heizel in Brussels. There, Xandee was confronted with a few surprises. She was given a golden record for her single 1 Life, that entered the charts in Flanders at number and held the same place for six weeks, as well as the first copy of her new album. Furthermore she received a turkish talisman out of the hands of Flemish Minister of Foreign Policy Patricia Ceyssens and a bust of Xandee, made of white chocolate, was unveiled. Could it be more Belgian?
Tomorrow, the Belgian delegation is heading for Istanbul. Xandee will be waved goodbye at 8.00 CET at Brussels National Airport in Zaventem.
