As esctoday.com reported yesterday, Walloon broadcaster RTBF will not broadcast the qualifier round of the Eurovision Song Contest next Wednesday. According to Flemish broadcaster VRT, that doesn't bring the Belgian voting in danger.
Allthough Walloon broadcaster RTBF will not broadcast the qualifier round of the Eurovision Song Contest next Wednesday, the Belgians will still be allowed to participate in the voting.
Since Flemish broadcaster VRT, responsible for this year's Belgian entry (*), broadcasts the qualifier round and organises a televote that is accessible for both Flanders and Wallonia, Belgium obbeyes all rules set up by the Eurovision Broadcasting Union.
* The official programme by the Eurovision Broadcasting Union unjustly mentions RTBF as responsible Belgian broadcaster this year.
