The producer of the Eurovision Song Contest Peeter Rebane predicts that the ticketprize can raise up to 10 000 EEK (~640 EUR).
The organizers will launch an internet auction next Wendesday to sell 1500 tickets for the final concert. Only the citizens of Estonia may take part of the auction.
The producer Peeter Rebane sayed that the organizers are convinced that a high prize would forestall the speculations in the black market.
1500 tickets sold in auction will decrease the contribution the state has to make many millions of Estonian kroons. So, it will also burden less the taxpayers of Estonia.
In his opinion the final prizes will remain between 5000 – 10 000 Estonian kroons. Those are the highest prizes for any entertainment ever before in Estonia.
For the 2 concerts, on May 24th and in the morning of May 25th the tickets will also be sold. There will be 7000 tickets all together with a prize between 150 and 490 kroons. Those tickets will be sent to sale on January 28th.
In addition to 1500 tickets sold in Estonia, 500 tickets are booked for fans from other countries.
