According to Estonian newspaper SL Õhtuleht the most favoured female host for the ESC 2002 is Annely Peebo, solo-artist of the Opera Theatre in Vienna.
Annely Peebo was born in 1971 in Võhma, Estonia. She graduated from Musical School of Tallinn as a conductor and started to study singing in Vienna in 1994. She made her debute in 1997 in the Opera Theatre of Vienna, which were followed by roles in “Magic Flute”, “Hänsel&Gretchen”, “Carmen”, “Summernight dream” etc.
At the moment she is a solist of Vienna National Opera and has sung on the stages of Italy, France and Germany together with Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo.
