The Flemish-Belgium broadcaster VRT selected 28 songs for their national final Eurosong 2002.
The 24 songs will be performed in 4 semi-finals. According to producer Steve De Coninck “the coice will never be so hard to make”. Our colleagues from Eurosong.be were there when a press conference was held at broadcaster VRT.
The four semi-finals will be held in Schelle in Studio 100. January 20 and 27, February 3 and 10 are the dates for the semi's. February 17 is E-day for the selected participants, because that day the winner will be decided.
The voting will be different from other years. There will be a selected jury, an international jury and a selection of broadcaster staff.
