I am so surprised. That was what Mrs. Christine Marchal said after she heard about the wish from many fans to have a re-draw.
“I am so surprised by what I read and would like to restate that nothing went wrong during the draw. I was there and I personally checked that everything was going OK and mixed all the balls before the actual draw“, she said to ESCTODAY.
The only reasons why this suspicious remarks emerged are, according to Mrs. Marchal, the fact that the draw was not live (the draw was taped early afternoon in order to allow for editing and subtitles, this is why results have been known before
the actual broadcast) and the fact that many people saw the recorded version of the rehearsal draw, which were purely technical.
Mrs. Marchal stated again that the draw was fair and that there is no reason for a re-draw.
