Costs for security have raised to 12,5 million EEK

According to the head of ETV Aare Urm the costs for security have raised after the terrorist attacts in New York from 10 to 12,5 million EEK.

That means that the organizers will not manage with a budget of 110 million EEK as it was planned at the beginning of September.

The Police Chief of Tallinn Jüri Kasesalu sayed that in addition to the 1200 policemen of Tallinn, 250 extra officers will come from other parts of Estonia to help. Also the private security firms have offered their help.

In Copenhagen there was 400 security guards only nearby the venue.

The organizers are planning to book Saku Suurhall 3 to 4 weeks ahead. No other events will be held then and all the people entering the hall must pass strict security control.
