The second semi-final of talent show EuroStar was won by 32-year-old Antonis Dominos. The program will select the performer who will represent Greece in Istanbul. With the completion of last Saturday�s live show, two of the three finalists are now known.
After the jury vote, which contributed 60% of the total score, Antonis Dominos was in second place, just one point behind Ilias Karavasilis. However, it seems that Antonis managed to impress the tele-viewers, whose televoting counted for 40% of the total score and proved to be decisive; with 44.5% of the televoting share, Antonis was brought to 1st place, whereas Ilias, with a share of 18.5%, ended up third. Antonis Dominos is a Boston University graduate and has B.A.�s in Political Science and Environmental Studies. For the last 10 years, he has being performing at clubs in the U.S.A. and Greece. His favourite group are the Rolling Stones and, when it comes to Greek Eurovision entrants, he prefers Antique.
The last EuroStar semi-final will be broadcast next Saturday. Three ladies, namely Yianna Fafaliou, Evangelia Roumatza and Valia Zolota, will compete against each other for the chance to join Antonis and last week�s winner, Apostolos Psychramis, in the final. All three finalists will sign a contract with leading record company MINOS EMI.
