EuroStar, the talent show in which to find the Greek representative in Istanbul, enters its next phase tonight in the midst of several sudden changes in its scheduling. General elections were declared in Greece earlier this month, and it seems like EuroStar is suffering from Greek broadcaster ERT's struggles to fit political programs into its programme tables.

Last night, the 11th episode of the program was aired after a short notice by ERT, the Greek state broadcaster. Indeed, ERT advertised the show only a few hours before its broadcast and, still, the program was eventually aired later than what was announced in the relevant trailers.

Nevertheless, the 18 finalists were made known. These were:
Yianna Fafaliou (64/80), Antonis Dominos (64/80), Chrysanthi Michalopoulou (62/80), Thanos Papaioannou (60/80), Maria Roumatza (59/80), Ilias Karavasilis (59/80), Ghogho Vaghena (57/80), Apostolos Psychramis (57/80), Valia Zolota (54/80), Panayiotis Rafailidis (53/80), Ioanna Mitsiaki (52/80), Maximilianos Sapoutzis (52/80), Dimitris Kilkis (47/80), Theocharis Mosaidis (43/80), Irini Zoi (32/80), Kostas Chryssis (31/80), Prokopis Politis (31/80), Tania Karakasidou (30/80).

With tonight’s 12th episode, EuroStar enters its next phase where the above 18 finalists will be narrowed down to 9 over three heats. The results of the 1st heat were as follows:
1st. Yianna Fafaliou 61/80
2nd. Panayiotis Rafailidis 59/80
3rd. Thanos Papaioannou 56/80
4th. Irene Zoe 43/80
5th. Maximilianos Sapoutzis 28/80
6th. Ghogho Vaghena 24/80.
