Tonight at 20:00 CET the fourth and last semifinal in the Slovenian preselection scheme kicks off. The three songs receiving the most televotes proceed directly to the final, and later in the show four wildcards will be given to the remaining songs of all four semifinals.

Competing in fourth semifinal are: (music/lyrics/arrangement)

1. November – No reason to cry (Grega Samar/ Maja Osrajnik-Mithans/ Grega Samar)
2. Rebeka Dremelj – Ne boš se igral (You're not gonna play) (Frenk Nova/ Rebeka Dremelj/ Frenk Nova)
3. Ylenia Zobec – Tvoj glas (Your voice) (Marino Legovič/ Damjana Kenda – Hussu/ Marino Legovič)
4. Maja Slatinšek – Slovo brez mej (Farewell without borders) (Raay/ Mojca Seliškar, Maja Slatinšek/ Raay)
5. Rožmarinke – Kliše (Cliché) (Boris Benko/ Boris Benko, Primož Hladnik)
6. Pop Design – In ti greš (And you go) (Zvone Hranjec/ Tone Košmrlj/ Zvone Hranjec)
7. Žana & RnB Wannabes – Požar (Fire) (Raay/ Ropo & Hellga/ Raay)
8. Katrinas – Živa (Rok Golob/ Štefan Miljevič, Katrinas/ Rok Golob)

Again, this semifinal does not offer immediate favourites. The man (or boy) behind Maja Slatinšek and Žana & RnB Wannabes is Lil' Raay. He is more known as the producer of several songs for Unique, girl band with members selected through the TV show Popstars, than as a singer even though he was the winner of the Melodije morja in sonca festival on the first, newcomers' evening.

Rebeka Dremelj (photo) is a former Miss Slovenia. Her singing career is pretty much in the shadows of her work as a TV presenter. Her last festival effort (Hit Festival) was a total flop.

Pop Design was one of the biggest names in the early 90s on the Slovenian music scene. After Vili Resnik (Slovenia 1998) left the band to pursue a solo career, the band was quickly forgotten. They reunited with Vili Resnik in 2002, but he will not front the band at Ema 04. Katrinas are no strangers to Slovenian music festivals. They are more popular with music critics than with the public.

You can watch Ema 04- Predizbor 04 (again hosted by Bernarda Žarn and Peter Poles) on the Internet via the official Ema 04 website set by the Slovenian national broadcaster RTVSLO.
