Nathan Datner, half the duo Lazy Bums, who represented Israel in the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest, reaches a pick in his professional career being appointed general manager of one Israel's leading theaters.

Nathan Datner teamed up with Avi Kushnir in 1987, and together they won the Israeli national pre-selection, Kdam-Eurovision, with the humorous Shir Habatlanim (The bums song). They went on to represent Israel in that year's Eurovision Song Contest, reaching the 8th position at the end ot it. Datner also presented the 1985 and 1993 Kdam-Eurovision shows on IBA (Israeli broadcaster).

Datner, who has never been a professional singer (just like his former partner Kushnir), developed a successful acting career in television and theater, which awarded him a few prizes along his career. Nathan Datner will run the Be'er-Sheba Municipal Theater, where he started his acting career. 'This is a very symbolic and exciting new beginning for me', said the thrilled Datner.
