San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest
San Marino entered our beloved competition in 2008 and can look back at 15 participations since. The small nation has qualified for the final on 4 occasions, the most recent being last year in Basel. Gabry Ponte performed Tutta l’Italia and finished in 26th place.
San Marino has built a reputation for surprising and eclectic selections, having collaborated with international artists and producers. We look forward to see which act will emerge victorious tonight. Their best result so far was achieved in 2019, when Serhat finished in 19th place with Say na na na.
This year San Marino is expected to participate in the second half of the first semi-final on 12 May, in a fight for a 5th qualification for the Grand Final.
The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 12, 14 and 16 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
