SWR, the German broadcaster, has unveiled the ‘ESC-Das Deutche Finale 2026’ international jury members.
Germany is gearing up in full steam for Eurovision 2026. The Germans will be selectin their Eurovision 2026 hopeful and entry on Saturday 28 February via a national final which is scheduled to be held in Berlin.
SWR the German broadcaster has unveiled the names of the 20 members who will form the international jury in the national final:

- Wim Dehandschutter (Belgium)
- Destiny (Malta)
- Christian Ellegaard (Denmark)

- Luca Hänni (Switzerland)
- Anca Lupes (Romania)
- Catherine Nothum (Luxembourg)
- Alex Panayi (Cyprus)
- Ruslana (Ukraine)
- Diletta Parlangeli (Italy)
- Sanni (Finland)
- Karl-Erik Taukar (Estonia)
- Thomas Turner (Austria)
- Vaidotas Valiukevičius (Lithuania)
- Roxie Węgiel (Poland)
We have some familiar faces for the Eurovision fraternity in the international jury: Gohar Gasparyan has been the Armenian Head of Delegation and Commentor for many years. Christer Bjorkman has been involved in various roles at the Eurovision Song Contest throughout the years. We have some former ESC stars Ruslana (Ukraine 2004/ESC winner), Destiny (Malta 2021), Vaidotas (The Roop), Alex Panayi (Cyprus 1995, 2000), Luca Hanni (Switzerland 2019) and Margaret Berger (Norway 2013).

The International jury will vote for the competing songs in the first phase of the national final and the top three entries will proceed to the second phase of the competition. Hence a total of 3 entries will battle for the golden ticket to Austria, the winner will be selected via a 100% public voting deliberation.
