TVR, the Romanian national broadcaster, has unveiled the Selectia Nationala 2026 finalists.
Romania is back at the Eurovision Song Contest after a 2 year hiatus. The country will be selecting its Eurovision 2026 act and entry via a televised national final. Seletia Nationala is scheduled to be held on 4th March 2026. A total of 10 acts will compete for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026 in Vienna.
TVR has unveiled the 10 competing acts at Selectia Nationala 2026:
- Alejandro Zandes & Emil Rengle – “Bailando solo”
- Alexandra Căpitănescu – “Choke Me”
- Edward Maya x LavBbe x Costi – “Everybody Needs Somebody”
- Emy Alupei – “Till Born”
- HVNDS – “Dor”
- Monica Odagiu – “Fereastra pentru un orb”
- Olivia Addams – “Croco”
- Vanu – “Therapy Enemy”
- Yguana – “Happy Birthday”
An 11th act will be added to the line up via Wild Card selection to the act which achieves most views on YouTube:
- Alexa & Aria Moon – “iELE”
- Antonio Pican – “Humans”
- Bogdan Medvedi – “Broken Heart”
- Impact – “Bengalo”
- WRS – “All the Way”
WRS represented Romania at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.
Selectia Nationala 2026
The 2026 Romanian national final is scheduled to be held at the TVR Studios on March 4th in Bucharest. The 2026 Romanian Eurovision act and entry will be determined via a jury deliberation.
