The 2026 Moldovan national final is scheduled to be be held at the Chisinau Arena on Saturday 17th January.

Serghei Orlov ( Selectia Nationala Music Producer) says:

This year, the pre-selection aroused great interest from artists of different generations. Among the competitors are both well-known artists and completely new names. Eurovision at the national stage continues to be an excellent platform for young talents to manifest themselves. In the first stage, we tried to accept almost everyone who applied to the live auditions, in order to give each participant the chance to assert themselves. Even though the evaluation of the songs is relatively subjective, we will be guided by the trends of the contest from previous years, but also by criteria such as – the originality of the song, vocals, the artist’s stage performance, charisma, message. The live performance stage will show the true potential of the songs and artists. I wish the participants the most brilliant developments.

Roman Burlaca ( Selectia Nationala Music Producer) says:

The auditions will represent an essential stage for me, especially in the context in which many of the songs entered in the contest sound very good and have real potential. I want to communicate directly with the participants, to understand their visions, ideas and real capabilities. I promise that the selection will not be a “dry” or distant one. Even for those who will not reach the final, I want this experience to be a useful one: to understand why they did not advance, what could have been improved and how they can better prepare for a future edition. I want each participant to leave with more confidence and a clear direction for growth.

Moldova in Eurovision
