The 1999 Swedish Eurovision winner, Charlotte Perrelli has submitted a song for Benidorm Fest 2026.

The multi facetted and supremely talented Swedish Eurovision 1999 winner, Charlotte Perrelli, flew to the sunny shores of Malaga last weekend where she graced the 19th annual OGAE Spain Congress. During the congress she revealed that she has submitted an entry for Benidorm Fest 2026.

RTVE is currently evaluating all the submitted entries and will shortlist the songs in due course. The Spanish national broadcaster is set to unveil the Benidorm Fest entries on 18th December 2025.

Two time Swedish Eurovision representative, Charlotte Perrelli has graced the Eurovision twice namely at the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry ‘Take me to your heaven‘ with which she won the contest in Jerusalem.

Charlotte is a household name both in Sweden and overseas thanks to her Eurovision victory and has competed at Melodifestivalen several times.

Charlotte returned to the contest in 2008 with ‘Hero‘, when the competition travelled to Belgrade, Serbia.
