Portugal’s 2024 Eurovision representative, Iolanda, will serve as the country’s spokesperson during the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. The announcement was made by Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP), continuing the tradition of selecting the previous year’s artist for this role.

Iolanda represented Portugal at Eurovision 2024 with Grito, securing 10th place in the Grand Final with 152 points. In addition to her upcoming role, Iolanda was one of the guest performers during the first semi-final on Tuesday night. She joined Jerry Heil (Ukraine), Silvester Belt (Lithuania), and Marina Satti (Greece) for a special rendition of Ne partez pas sans moi, the song with which Céline Dion won Eurovision 1988 for Switzerland.

Portugal’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is Deslocado by Napa, who successfully qualified for the Grand Final. The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is taking place in Basel, Switzerland, with the Grand Final scheduled for 17 May.
