Bulgarian fans will not be able to watch the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on national television, as Bulgarian National Television (BNT) has confirmed it will not broadcast the event. The broadcaster has also opted out of participation, continuing a pattern seen in recent years.

No coverage of the three live shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, scheduled for 13, 15 and 17 May, appears in BNT’s official programming. Unlike some non-participating countries that still air the contest, Bulgaria will not offer national viewing access this year.

Bulgaria last took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with Intelligent Music ProjectIntention, which failed to qualify for the final. The country’s best result remains Kristian Kostov’s second-place finish in 2017 with Beautiful Mess.

For now, Bulgarian Eurovision fans will need to rely on online streaming platforms to watch the contest. BNT has not announced any plans for future participation or broadcasting.
