Monaco will broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 live on TVMonaco, marking the country’s first airing of the event since 2006.
Although Monaco is not participating in this year’s contest, the country’s new public broadcaster, TVMonaco, will air all three shows: the two semi-finals and the Grand Final. This development follows TVMonaco’s launch on 1 September 2023 and its membership in the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in March 2024, which grants it broadcasting rights for Eurovision events.
Monaco last competed in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. The country’s previous broadcaster, TMC, merged with France’s TF1 and ceased its EBU membership, leading to Monaco’s withdrawal from the contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place at the St. Jakobshalle Arena in Basel, Switzerland, with the semi-finals scheduled for 13 and 15 May, and the Grand Final on 17 May.
