BVN, the Dutch international broadcaster funded by the national broadcaster NPO, has announced it will broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 live from Basel. This move allows Dutch-speaking audiences worldwide to follow the contest through the Netherlands’ coverage.
BVN’s international reach includes countries such as Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Switzerland, as well as regions like the Dutch Caribbean, the Philippines, South Africa, and Thailand. While the commentary team for this year’s broadcast has yet to be announced, BVN’s coverage ensures that Dutch-speaking viewers across the globe can enjoy the contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland, with the semi-finals scheduled for 13 and 15 May, and the Grand Final scheduled for 17 May. Netherlands will be represented by Claude with C’est La Vie, running 13th on the first semi-final.
