Portuguese singer-songwriter Iolanda, who captivated audiences at Eurovision 2024 with her song Grito, is set to return to the Eurovision stage as a guest performer. Her performance will be part of the interval acts, celebrating recent standout artists from the contest.
The Swiss national broadcaster, SRG SSR, confirmed that Iolanda will return to Eurovision Song Contest 2025 as a guest performer. Iolanda represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden, with the song Grito, which she co-wrote with Alberto “Luar” Hernández. The entry secured a 10th-place finish in the Grand Final, earning 152 points.
While it has not yet been disclosed during which live show Iolanda will perform, her inclusion adds to a growing list of interval acts celebrating Eurovision’s rich history. Other confirmed guest performers include Efendi, The Roop, Destiny, Jørgen Olsen, Baby Lasagna, Käärijä, Marina Satti, and Jerry Heil.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland, with the Grand Final on 17 May, and the Semi-Finals on 13 and 15 May. Portugal will be represented by Napa with Deslocado, starting seventh on the first semi-final, 13 May.
