Singer-songwriter and former Ukrainian act Jerry Heil will announce the jury points for Ukraine during the Grand Final of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel on 17 May.

Ukrainian artist Jerry Heil, who represented her country in Eurovision Song Contest 2024, will return to the spotlight at this year’s contest in a new role. She has been confirmed as the spokesperson for Ukraine and will announce the jury points live during the Grand Final. The event will be broadcast by Ukraine’s public broadcaster Suspilne.

Jerry Heil is a GRAMMY Recording Academy member and one of the most talked-about names in Ukrainian pop. At Eurovision 2024, she competed alongside alyona alyona with the song Teresa & Maria, which received widespread acclaim. Now, her voice will once again be heard across Europe as she delivers Ukraine’s crucial 12 points from the national jury.

In a heartfelt message to fans, Jerry Heil reflected on her Eurovision journey and what the event means to her.

Eurovision is a family. Once you become part of it, the bond is forever. It’s a safe place where you can truly be yourself, and where the music of your soul can be heard. Last year, we spoke about how we dreamed that Ukrainian music would resonate around the world not just from contest to contest, but continuously — and what a joy it is to see this happening now!

Divas, I promised we would meet again at Eurovision 2025 — and I am keeping that promise. This year, I have the honour of announcing Ukraine’s 12 points during the most thrilling moment for all the participants. And, knowing the behind-the-scenes spirit, I can say for sure: by that time, an incredible musical bond will have formed among the artists. That’s the essence of Eurovision — it’s not just a competition, but a true musical camp, a festival of freedom and love.

To celebrate the announcement in her own unique style, Jerry Heil shared a short video where she sings the news to her fans.
