Twenty-five years after his Eurovision victory, Jørgen Olsen will return to the contest stage in Basel, Switzerland, performing Fly on the wings of love as an interval act during the 2025 Grand Final.

The Swiss national broadcaster, SRG SSR, confirmed that Jørgen Olsen, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 alongside his brother Niels “Noller” Olsen as the Olsen Brothers, will be among the guest performers at this year’s event. Their winning song, Fly on the wings of love, became a pan-European hit and is widely regarded as one of Denmark’s most iconic Eurovision entries.

This special performance marks the 25th anniversary of their victory in Stockholm, where they secured Denmark’s second Eurovision win. While it has not yet been disclosed during which live show Jørgen Olsen will perform, his inclusion adds to a growing list of interval acts celebrating Eurovision’s rich history. Other confirmed guest performers include Efendi and The Roop.

The 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel on 13, 15, and 17 May 2025. Switzerland earned the right to host the contest following Nemo’s victory in 2024 with the song The code.
