France is the very last participant to unveil its song to the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. The wait is finally over! 28-year old singer and actress Louane presents tonight the song that she will perform in Basel next May. And this as interval act of a rubgy match between France and Scotland. The Eurovision 2025 is now complete!
Eurofans may now discover the French bid to the 69th Eurovision Song Contest. As representative of a Big5, Louane is set to performe during the Grand Final on Saturday 17 May 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Louane will try to lift a Eurovision trophy which no French representative has managed to snatch since Marie Myriam (L’oiseau et l’enfant, 1977).
About Louane
Anne Peichert, also known as Louane is a 28-year-old singer and actress from Sainte-Catherine, France. She participated in The Voice France in 2013, reaching the semi-final. This wave of popularity led her to perform in the movie La famille Bélier, a role for which she won a César Award for Most Promising Actress.
Louane has been internally selected to represent France at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. Her style is frequently described as French chanson with modern pop influences. She has released five albums to this day. The first one, Chambre 12, released in 2015, became the best sold album in France that year.

France is one of the founding members of the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1956. They have competed a total of 66 times, winning five times (1958, 1960, 1962, 1969 and 1977). France has hosted the contest three times: twice in Cannes (1959 and 1961) and once in Paris (1978).
In 2024 Slimane represented the Hexagone with the entry Mon amour, reaching the very respectable fourth place in the final ranking.
