We have yet another song for the 2025 Eurovision class. Today we turn to the Netherlands for the presentation of their act for Basel. Here is Claude with C’est la vie.
He was one of the very first artists to be announced last December. 21 year-old singer Claude was internally chosen among 331 entries by Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS. Today the moment arrived to listen to the song he will bring on the Eurovision stage in Basel next May. Here is C’est la vie.
The Netherlands is drawn to perform in the second half of the first semi-final on Tuesday 13 May 2025.
Claude says:
C’est La Vie’ is a tribute to a parent and for me that’s my mother. As a little boy and throughout my youth, she taught me to see the positive in the things you experience in life, even when you experience setbacks. Even though it looks very dark for a moment, you should always focus on the bright side. That is exactly the message I want to convey. Life is not always easy; it goes up, it goes down, and around and around, but ‘C’est La Vie’!
