However, composer Ray Agius and lyricists Alfred C. Sant withdrew their entry, Will it ever be the same; while the same composer Agius and Alfred's son, Godwin Sant withdrew their entry A Mediterranean Love. The 2 entries are now replaced by the two songs next-in-line.
One of the entries which has now earned a place in the top-36 semi-final is the following:
Twenty-Four-Seven
Music: Mark Spiteri Lucas
Lyrics: Deo Grech
The second new entry in competition will be announced shortly.
