Newspaper The Times of Malta published the list with the 36 songs, writers and composers for the Maltese national Eurovision selection for 2004. Among them are some well-known names!

Ralph Siegel, who wrote several German Eurovision Song Contest entries, Philip Vella, Gerard James Borg, Deo Grech (O.G.A.Eurovision Malta and Esctoday.com correspondent), Paul Abela and Georgina Abela wrote and composed songs. Most of them already had a Eurovision Song Contest entry once.

The first name is the composer, the second name is the writer!

However, composer Ray Agius and lyricists Alfred C. Sant withdrew their entry, Will it ever be the same; while the same composer Agius and Alfred's son, Godwin Sant withdrew their entry A Mediterranean Love. The 2 entries are now replaced by the two songs next-in-line.
