Another gala of Spain's Operación Triunfo ended tonight, with Jose bidding farewell to the academy, after Jorge won this week's public vote with 50,4% of the votes.

As the rules of the series state, Jorge was nominated again to leave in the next show, along with the less favourite contestants of the week: Miriam, Israel, Nuria and Sonia. Israel was saved by the jury members, Nuria was saved by her fellow contestants, and Jorge was finally rescued, after 3 weeks as a candidate for a dropout. That leaves Sonia and Miriam to battle over one vacant spot in the academy. One of them will drop out of the show next Monday, according to the viewers votes.

Vicente kept his spot and title as the most favoured contestant, as he has won most of the public's vote, again this week, making it the fourth week in a row, and making him the only one to win this title in this season of Operación Triunfo so far. Miguel took the second place and Noelia follows him at number 3.

Spain's entrant to the Eurovision Song Contest in May 2004 will be determined at the end of this season's Operación Triunfo.
